the path
Welcome, Wanderer.
Before you step into the Grove, you must walk the path. These guiding rules preserve the peace, spirit, and safety of our space.
common sense kindness
Treat all members with respect. Discrimination, harassment, or hateful behavior will not be tolerated. This includes any and all forms of bigotry. No drama, trolling, or disruptive behavior.
General Chat Decency
FC chat/discord channels are not appropriate for explicit sexual content. Mature humor/NFSW topics are fine, but please keep graphic sexual jokes/acts/comments in your tells.
respect the journey of others
Use the correct channels, tag your spoilers, and keep the magic intact for others.
Especially in lore discussions - don’t spoil someone’s journey before they’ve arrived.
inactivity
We respect the need for pauses, and for the times when life can get in the way. All members have a 90 day grace period for absence - at the 60 day mark, leadership will reach out with a reminder, at 90+ days, you will be dismissed.
shadows
Alts are welcome on a case-by-case basis and must be registered as Shadows.
They are held to the same activity expectations as any member.
Welcoming Wanderers
New members have 30 days to explore, connect and see if the Grove is right for them. At any time they may be granted a higher role, or quietly released into the aether.
The grove Is 21+
To protect the energy of our space, the Grove is for members 21 and older only.
This applies to the FC, Discord, and all associated events.
We won’t ask for ID, but we will trust your honesty.

The Grove gathers for both frequent unscheduled, and special events. We regularly party up for activities such as ocean fishing, roulettes, maps, and mount farms. We also have more unique events planned in advance, as listed below.

chocobo stables
Leadership takes pride in caring for our birds, and very frequently will train any chocobo left in the FC stables. When we've hit your bird's exp cap, if you aren't online, we'll let you know.

We keep a stocked and organized chest to provide for our members. Drawer #1 is available to all members, and drawers 2 & 3 are available to residents +
Drawer #1 is regularly stocked with food, prisms, dispellers, greens and a few brooms for wanderers using our chocobo stables. Below are a bunch of minions that any member (yes even brand new ones!) are welcome to take.
Drawer #2 is our 'chocobo' drawer, with everything you could need to train, dye and level your chocobo to your heart's desire. Sometimes the gardeners leave seeds in here as well.
Drawer #3 is our free-for-all drawer. Take anything you want, or leave anything worth 1,000 gil or more.
For those curious - Drawer #4 is deposit only and an absolute mess of all the submarine loot we've gathered thus far, as well as some crafting mats, repair materials, etc. Drawer #5 can only be viewed by wardens + and is home to all of our prizes for giveaways and events.

The grove's entrance features a full service counter with 3 vendors, FC chest, summon bell and message book.
All members are welcome to have private quarters, and already we have some absolutely stunning rooms within that you are more than welcome to visit and enjoy.
Our main living space always has snacks available, and probably someone crafting or afking near by.
upper floor
Upstairs, we have a cozy library with plenty of nooks and crannies to tuck yourself away in when you need it, and an unending journey desk for replaying those unforgettable moments from MSQ. And perhaps.. a secret room? Come by to find out..
lower floor
Our lower floor holds our small venue space for FC events, with entirely too many verdant partitions, and (you guessed it) even more cosy seating areas.

The Lunar Goddess is an exclusive role, designated to Niemira, the founder and current leader of the grove.
warden
The Wardens comprises of our leadership team. You can expect wardens to run events, guide wanderers to us, keep the chat active and respectful, or supply the grove with needed materials. A warden or the goddess herself may invite active, friendly residents or stargazers into this rank on a case by case basis.
stargazer
Stargazers are our long-time active members, granted to both the grove's first members, as well as those who have made a big impact for a long time since. All permissions the same as residents, just a fancy title for those who've earned it.
resident
Residents are fully fledged members of the grove, who have access to drawers 1-3 of the company chest, chocobo training and gardening. All residents are eligible for a free FC room, and can execute actions.
wanderer
Wanderers have been with the grove for less than 30 days. They are welcome to explore the discord, attend events, visit the estate, and of course, ask for help in chat. During this time we expect wanderers to take an active role in the community and feel out whether the space is right for them. Promotion into resident may happen anytime during these 30 days, dependent on the wanderer's engagement within the community.

Shadows are alternate accounts created by existing members and are accepted into the grove on a case by case basis. Shadows are held to the same activity expectations as full members, and will quietly depart after 90 days of inactivity.
